Harry is one of lovely Lily's puppies and was born in an Aarf foster home here in WA state. He is unique amongst his siblings due to his crooked tail which happened in utero. He has been very well socialized since he was born and has been around cats, lots of other dogs, kids and adults and even baby goats! As a result of DNA testing we know that Momma is a purebred American Staffordshire Terrier and Dad was an English Bulldog, hence all the wrinkles. According to the puppy calculators his predicted full grown size will be around 110lbs!! Please understand the needs of larger dogs before you fall for his sweet puppy face :)

Harry is a super a sweet boy and will need a home that realizes the needs of a puppy! We do require a home and reference checks before adoption and with our puppies the adoption contract states that a training class is also mandatory. The puppies are currently too young to be altered, however Aarf requires proof of spay/ neuter before your puppy reaches 6 months of age. If surgery is carried out with one of our approved vets Aarf will cover the cost.

Whilst you may have a preference for a particular puppy and we will try to take that into consideration, primarily we match our puppies to their families by personality not looks.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  You are welcome to fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org; please fill this in as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay) and microchipping.
