Are you looking for a young but potty trained, crate trained dog? Are you ready for an older puppy in your house along with all the fun and work that entails? Then Puddin' might just be the girl for you.

Puddin' is a lovely young black mouth cur mix, so belongs in the hound breed family. She is a great all round dog. She's pretty active and doesn't want to stay in her crate all day. Although she is crate trained, if left too long she will protest and ask to be let out. She loves to be outside with her people walking and having fun. She's pretty good on a leash already. She's also very playful and does well with other dogs who are tolerant of her rough housing puppy behavior. Like all puppies she can get very excited and needs to learn some playing manners :) She's very sweet with people and wonderful with her current foster's 10 year old. She will shred up blankets in her kennel through boredom (so if leaving for a while don't leave a blanket in there!) and LOVES chew toys, she's made her kennel a toy box. She is working on perfecting her sit and stay skills and thinks training is great fun.

Puddin' is a very sweet girl who hasn't a mean bone in her body. She loves everyone!  Her favorite things seem to be chew toys, attention, and being trained. She is learning to play fetch but hasn't quite gotten the returning part down yet lol. She will require some training classes, lots of attention, and exercise just like most puppies!!! She is just over a year old and will need your love and guidance to become an even more awesome pup!

 As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters. You are welcome to fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org; please fill this in as fully as you can. It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all current vetting (including neuter) and microchipping.     smile emoticon
