Jasper is the runt of a litter of Catahoula puppies who were saved along with their Mom, Jewel, from a high kill shelter in Texas. They have been in foster care since they were born and are happy, social loving puppies. Jasper has no idea he is the smallest of his iblings and regularly holds his own wrestling with the biggest boy in the bunch.Don't let his size fool you Jasper is an active boy who loves to play with his siblings. He is quite independent and happy to explore the yard, but if there's a puppy to be found at your feet it's always him. He is slowly learning what toys are for and working on crate training. He has beautiful eyes and one is half bright blue.He LOVES his cuddles and can be held on his back showing he can also be submissive.  The children in his foster family, aged 6 and 9, have held Jasper as their favorite since the puppies first arrived. His loving sweet, playful goofy nature is very endearing and he will make someone very happy! 

Catahoulas are energetic intelligent dogs who need a firm kind owner who will be consistent and who understands the needs of training classes and updates. They are an assertive breed originally bred to hunt hogs in Louisiana and as such can be challenging for the first time owner. BUT should you take on that challenge you will be rewarded with unwavering loyalty and an amazing family member. 

PLEASE do your research on this breed and feel free to ask questions! Puppies are a TON of work and need plenty of time to learn where to potty and how to behave. We prefer to home with families who will not be gone too long during the day as these guys are pretty young and will need lots of company and socializing. We require home and reference checks before adoption and our adoption contract requires puppy training class and spay/ neuter surgery. 

The adoption fee is $400 and covers the puppies shots, and spay or neuter surgery at one of our approved vets.

These puppies are going very very fast. It will not obligate you to anything but gives us a great tool to begin the matching process for each puppy. We work hard to match personalities and ensure our dogs of their forever homes, so if we think a different puppy might work better for you we will let you know!
