Jake's long time family decided they could no longer keep him and wanted him put down. The vet's office asked us if we could take him because they did not feel it should be done. Jake is 10 years old and although he may not run and play the way he use to, he is still very social. It would be best if this special boy went to a home where he is the only pet so he can be the focus of attention. We know it's not always emotionally easy adopting a senior animal but Jake deserves to be appreciated even more so in in his twilight years.
