Pearl is a 10 month old Great Dane who had a very rough start in life. Her eyelashes were growing inside her eyelids which was extremely painful. To add insult to injury, she was left in a crate because of her eyes and when rescued at 3 months, didn't know how to walk because her leg muscles had atrophied. Thanks to a passionate Dane lover, she was rescued and brought into our care where she received the medical attention she needed. Pearl now walks and runs really well and has had all of her inner eyelashes removed. Her eyes look so much better already, and the Doctor said they will just continue to improve. Pearl is now looking for her forever home. She is a very sweet and cuddly girl who gets along very well with other dogs. She has met a cat and didn't seem to mind it at all.
