New update from her foster Mom:
Mia is an adorable five-year old Pit Bull mix available through AARF. I've had the pleasure of fostering this gorgeous girl and she makes the job of foster-mom a breeze! She is house trained, crate trained, knows several commands (including; sit, stay, lay-down and shake), and loves to play fetch outside.
Mia does great in the house by herself when you need to run errands or, if weather permits, will happily go along for the ride! When you walk through the door she will be waiting to greet you with a toy in her mouth and doing her I'm-so-happy-wiggle-worm-dance! Mia is the perfect mix of active and mellow. She loves going for walks and playing, but at the end of the day she loves to snuggle on the couch with you and watch movies. She is a happy, cute, smart wonderful dog!
Mia is looking for a home to call her own. This sweet, lovable girl would love to find an active family that will give her all of the attention she deserves. Mia loves to play in the backyard and go for runs or walks. She also loves to lounge around on your lap when itâs time to relax. At only 45 pounds and, she is the perfect size to fit on your lap!
Mia has lived with other dogs, but would prefer to be an only dog or be with a dog that is laid back and doesnât have a desire to be dominant. And definitely no cats for this canine lady. She would also prefer to live with children who are old enough to know not to grab or poke at her and that would appreciate her loving snuggles.
This girl is not only a great companion, but is incredibly smart. She can shake, roll over, stand on her two hind legs, sit, stay, lay down and she can learn new commands within minutes.
Mia is about 5-6 years old, has a clean bill of health, and has been spayed.
