**UPDATE ON TOBY** Toby developed bone cancer in his front left leg. The cancer had NOT metastasized into his chest, so we had his leg removed. Toby is getting around just great and is a happy, healthy and now cancer-free boy! Toby is a 10 year old Shepherd mix who is very healthy, happy and has many years ahead of him! This goofy boy loves other dogs, cats and almost all people. He gets out to meet new best friends as often as possible and enjoys every moment of it. He only doesn't like crawling infants. He hasn't done anything other than growl, but his previous family didn't want to take a chance with him and the baby. Toby would love a family that would take him to the dog park for a leisurely walk or to the beach. Toby does just fine in the house on his own and doesn't ever need to be kenneled. He loves going for walks and rides in the car exceptionally well. But his favorite thing in the world is giving and getting all kinds of love. He's such a sweet boy and if you adopt him, you'll be the lucky one! We really can't say enough good things about this sweet boy, he'll make an amazing companion for just about any family!
