Zachary was found in the 100 degree Texas heat dehydrated, a little underweight, burned paw pads, and a bare neck. We think he had been chained up outside for a very long time in his young life. Despite that, he is a very sweet & loving young pharoah hound/lab mix puppy. He is recently neutered, up on his shots, and healthy. The fur on his neck has come back as well. We approximate Zach's birthday as being in October 2010. Zach thuroughly enjoys swimming! So if you wanted someone to throw the ball in the lake to play fetch with than Zach is your guy! Zach is fostered with children ranging in age, dogs, & cats. We believe if the cats in his foster home were to run from him that he may chase after them in a playful manner. With him being young this is something that can be corrected over time. He get along VERY well with all the dogs, adults, & children he has met so far. He is a medium-high energy guy that will need regular trips to the dog park & would do best with another playful dog at home with him. He is potty trained & is working on his kennel training.
