Cleetus and Opie came to us from Yakima. Their parents were owned by a couple that had left them to starve in their backyard. When their mother (the lab) had the litter she gave birth to 9 puppies around July 24th. 7 of them found homes around Yakima, then Cleetus & Opie came out to be fostered with us. They are current on vaccines and will be neutered and microchipped before going home. They are emaciated and will need to be given the right nutrition throughout their lives to ensure they do gain the proper weight and don't develop health issues. They are currently recovering from the Parvovirus and will be 'shedding' the virus until December 25th 2011. We require that anyone inquiring about adopting one of these great cuddly boys has some knowledge of the virus by looking it up online. They are being fostered with children, dogs (1 small & 1 large) and cats, so they will be ready for just about any family. Cleetus & Opie are both very loving and happy puppies. They need a home that will give them the training and exercise to ensure they become the great dogs they want to be.
