Meg is an old lady that just needs someone that doesn't want to go hiking or jogging. Meg walks around with a permanent smile that is sure to capture everyone's hearts she meets. She would do Great in a retirement community, as she is not easily startled even when sleeping. Meg rides well in the car and enjoys leisurely walks around the neighborhood. She was originally found wandering the street and is ready for someone to show her the love she deserves again. Meg can move up and down some steps with ease, but wouldn't do well in a home that had 10 or more to get inside. She is perfect with cats, kids, large and small dogs. She tends to just ignore the other animals around. She does guard her food or chewy sticks. Meg is a very gentle girl. Meg is deaf but doesn't ever run so if she started to wander off she would be easy to retrieve. Meg is ok with being allowed on the sofa or just having her own bed to rest on. Meg has a fatty tumor behind her left front arm. We have had it checked out and tested by our veterinarians. We are not having it removed because they do not think it is hindering her quality of life and is not going to spread. She also has other very small bumps, as many of us old ladies do. Meg has some arthritis that she will need to stay on medicine for, but is an overall healthy and happy little girl. We estimate Meg's birthday to be July 25th 1999. She will come microchipped and vaccinated. The first 30 days of any adoption is considered a trial period in which your adoption fee is refunded if for any reason the adoption doesn't work out.
