Briggs is a very happy-go-lucky boy who came from a shelter in Louisiana. He was almost out of time and for some reason none of us can understand, no one was interested in him. This sweet boy is very affectionate, extremely smart, energetic and goofy! He wants to play, play, play and play some more. Unfortunately, he tested heartworm positive, and he has to stay pretty still while he gets the treatment to get rid of those unwanted hijackers. We are optimistic that the treatment will go very well and he'll be ready for his new home some time in June. He loves other dogs and adores with the 11 and 7 year old children he lives with. He is house trained and crate trained. Adoption fee applies. Briggs is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccinations. All of our adoptions start with a 30-day trial and if it's not a good fit during that period, we will refund 75% of the adoption fee.
