Calvin is a 5 year old Pit who was initially rescued from death row at a local shelter. At that time, he was a puppy with his collar grown into his neck. He is a wonderful family dog, who is great with kids and adults and loves to play. He's very affectionate, fairly mellow and loves to cuddle. He absolutely loves people and would prefer to be the only pet in the home. Calvin weighs approximately 65 lbs and is crate/kennel trained. Some words about Calvin from his current foster: Calvin LOVES LOVES LOVES people! He's very well behaved in the house - doesn't get on the furniture or chew things he shouldn't. He sleeps in his crate every night, although he'd probably prefer to sleep in bed with his humans! He loves to play fetch, treats, walks and his all time favorite is tug o' war. He's extremely smart and will learn anything you want him to.
