Josie is a 12 year old English Bulldog. Josie's owner died and the family could not care for her, so she is in search of a new forever home. Don't let her age fool you, she is a spry and healthy girl! She loves all people, especially men and gets along well with dogs and cats. She does not like rambunctious in-your-face dogs, but otherwise likes everyone! Anyone interested in Josie would need to be familiar with the requirements of both the breed and her being a senior. She has mild arthritis in her knees and will need joint supplements and a home without stairs. Josie is potty trained but needs to be let out more frequently. She is not destructive and can be left alone in the house. Josie LOVES car rides and very short walks. True to her breed, she can sometimes be stubborn and will "dead dog" you if she doesn't want to go somewhere! This is a very sweet and charismatic dog and will make anyone a great companion! She just had her wellness-check and she's healthy and ready for her forever home! Adoption fee applies. Josie is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. All of our adoptions start with a 30-day trial. If it's not a good fit during that time, we will refund 75% of the adoption fee.
