Melvin is a 2.5 year old AmStaff/Golden Retriever mix (DNA tested). He is high energy and full of love. He is a happy and goofy boy. He's food motivated, very smart and a quick learner! Once he burns some energy off, he will lie at your feet and just wait to be petted. Melvin gets along well with dogs after proper introductions and really prefers the submissive and calm types. Melvin loves to play fetch and run along with a bike or roller blades. He is also just as happy to chew on a stick or rope toy. When not playing he likes to snuggle on the couch or in the bed if you'll let him. He knows basic commands: sit, wait, come, leave it and is learning touch and look really well. He is crate-trained, but not destructive if left uncrated. $225 adoption fee applies. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
