Hi my name is Gumbo; I am a big beautiful Catahoula mix from Longview, TX. AARF rescued me from an overflowing high-kill shelter when my time was up. I am super sweet, great with other dogs, gentle and love attention. I am potty and crate trained and pretty good on a leash. The vet thinks I’m around a year old. I weigh about 55 lbs. but am still pretty skinny so I should be about 65-70 lbs. at my full potential; look closely at my eyes; they are half blue/half brown! I can jump a 3 foot fence and climbed a 6 foot fence when my foster family left the yard and I wanted to follow them :) I would probably do the same if I saw something I really wanted (cat, rabbit, etc.) I am waaay to interested in my foster family’s cat and would most likely need to be in a home without them. I am really good with kids but I do wag my tail pretty hard so I might hurt small children with it.
