Freckles is a year old Catahoula Leopard dog that was rescued from a high kill shelter in Louisiana. Freckles is an incredibly sweet dog who loves snuggling up with her people. When she isn’t leaning on your leg for pets or following you around the house, she likes playing outside or wrestling with her foster sister. She is house trained as long as she is let out every five hours or so. She is good on a leash and loves going for walks. She has spent a little bit of time with dog-savvy cats and seems interested in licking them rather than chasing them. Freckles still acts like a 60 pound puppy. She is working on her manners such as learning to not jumping up on people and counters. Freckles likes children but younger children may get knocked over when Freckles is excited. The ideal family for Freckles would be a family who likes to go for walks, jogs or hikes and has a yard that Freckles can play in.
