Beefy is an owner surrender. His owner allowed him to roam the streets and would only show concern if he hadn't seen Beefy in a week. So a kind soul asked if she could take him and find him a home that would keep him safe. He agreed. Beefy loves children and would go over to the elementary school during their recess to visit them. He is very laid back, walks without pulling on a leash, gets along with large and small dogs. We do not know how he interacts with cats. He is 2 1/2 yrs old, 60lbs. His mom was a blue nose pit, his dad was a Pyrenees mix. He spends most of the day laying around next to you. But loves to tug of war and fetch. Because roaming was his way of life, we consider him a flight risk. He has jumped over 4 foot fences with ease. Because of that we have purchased a TAGG Gps tracking unit that will go with him. He is super friendly and goes right up to people. Beefy could use some leash training but he is eager to learn!
