Finn is one of 8 Catahoula Leopard Dog/ lab mix puppies that were rescued from a holding facility in Louisiana ( along with their mom), he was adopted in 2014 but sadly his families circumstances have changed dramatically and through no fault of his own he is now needing a new home.

Do you LOVE to play and cuddle? Are you looking for a very clever, quick to learn fun loving dog to be a part of your family? If so then Finn is the dog for YOU! He's a super sweet young man who loves to play with other dogs both at daycare and off leash parks. He especially likes chase and tug of war, but also enjoys a cuddle and is very excited to spend time with people, especially kids. He is very snuggly and often falls asleep on his back smiling whilst he snores. He is super smart, learns fast, walks well on a leash and does great on mountain hikes. Like all young dogs he has a LOT of energy and does best when able to get a good amount of exercise every day. Finn is very patient and seems to quite enjoy taking a shower after a muddy day! He is very affectionate and will demand love and attention! Finn is neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated. Home and reference checks will be required.

Finn i s searching  for someone who is active and looking for a four-legged friend to keep him or her company on running/hiking adventures. Finn would also be a good family dog in a family with older or dog savvy children as he  is very strong and young, so his play style can be a bit much for younger children. Finn is very loved and cared for, but his current home cannot give him the attention he needs and he is left alone at home for 10+ hours per day which makes him sad and has resulted in some attention-seeking behavior such as bolting past children out the front door (he doesn't run away, and stays within view), and occasional digging in the back yard. Finn needs to attend a training class as soon as possible so he can learn  strong recall skills. He is a smart and fast learner, so any family with the time and dedication to train him and work with him will be very happy with him.
