Jersey is a southern boy with a heart of gold. About a year old he is good with kids, other dogs, cats, chickens, even horses! His foster mum says he is an amazing boy who loves to chase the ball and run with other pups, play with toys and snuggle tons. "Jersey is a very very special boy. His calm loving nature is amazing. He's our 17th in a line of fosters and though I love them all, I don't fall IN LOVE with them all, but this boy is different!" His fav sleeping position is upside down with all four feet in the air! He is super clever and knows how to sit, and to wait for his food. He walks calmly on a gentle leader and greets other dogs loudly. At home he only barks to say he's ready to come back inside. Potty and crate trained he truly is a wonderful boy who needs a special family of his own. We believe Jersey was hit by a car in Louisiana several months ago and his xrays show he had a femoral head fracture which underwent surgery on March 5th. His prognosis is excellent and although he may always have a slight limp it won't impair his movement any. He had also been shot and had a BB pellet removed from a front leg. We are now accepting applications for this awesome fellow, he's been through so much in his 12 months of life.
