Stormy is not only beautiful on the outside, but she is an awesome dog all around. She has a high energy level and is pretty active, so we are looking for an adopter with a large fenced yard and a playmate of similar size/age/activity level. She would also do well with a fenced yard and someone who is active and will engage her daily. Stormy is athletic and has been practicing her hurdling skills on her foster mom's four foot chain link fence. However, she is not a runner and will come back when called. Therefore, we are looking for an adopter with a secure, wood fence as well.

Stormy is good on leash and will not pull you or take you for a walk :) However, if she sees a critter that catches her interest, she may want to bring you along to check it out. She is house trained and crate trained and will crate through the night, but will need a potty break first thing in the morning. Stormy has a high prey drive so no cats or other small animals in the home would be preferred. Stormy is outgoing and loves attention - she will definitely seek out her people for love and affection.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs.  Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file. Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Our adoption fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting and microchipping. *Completion of obedience training within 90 days of adoption is a requirement for adoption through AARF.*   Our minimum age for adoption is 25 years old.
