Burke is an outgoing dog who gets along well with other dogs and people. He has a medium to high energy level. Burke is lovable, loyal, completely house trained and crate trained and will crate on command. Burke has great leash manners and is eager to go for walks and explore. Burke has a high prey drive and would do best in a home without cats or other small animals. Burke can be shy at first but that doesn’t last long at all. Once he realizes you want to pet him, he is all about that.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no shelter or kennel where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters with an application on file.  Please fill in our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting and microchipping. *Completion of obedience training within 90 days of adoption is a requirement for adoption through AARF.*   Our minimum age for adoption is 25 years old.
