Meet Wilbur, he is quite the heartbreaker around town with that adorable face, everyone who meets him has fallen in love. Wilbur is a hound mix puppy who was found abandoned as a stray in Louisiana. One of our amazing volunteers stepped in to save the day and he is now looking for is forever home. His foster mom says that he is a super mellow and sweet guy, his big puppy paws show that he has room to grow, so he will be a larger dog, perfect for an active pet parent or family looking for an adventure buddy. Wilbur would love a fenced yard where he could run and play, and a soft place to cozy up for snuggle time. Does this sound like your home? If so, please read the paragraph below: As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters with an application on file. Please fill in our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can. It won't obligate you to anything, but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting and microchipping. *Completion of obedience training within 90 days of adoption and neuter by 1 year of age are requirements for adoption through AARF.* Our minimum age for adoption is 25 years old.
