Sweet Wanda was abandoned at a rural shelter in Louisiana and our wonderful volunteers stepped up and took this baby in until we could find her forever home. Wanda is an affectionate and playful pup, she is still young and has all the fun qualities of a puppy.  She is eager to please and quick to learn. She loves to play outside, but equally loves to snuggle up inside on her bed. 

Wanda is great with other dogs and other animals. She would do best in a home with a fenced in yard for zoomies and would be a wonderful family dog. Does this sound like your home? If so, please read the paragraph below for further details:

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters with an application on file.  Please fill in our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything, but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting and microchipping. *Completion of obedience training within 90 days of adoption is a requirement for adoption through AARF.*  Our minimum age for adoption is 25 years old.
