Cedar was rescued from a rural shelter in Louisiana and is now in Seattle looking for his forever home. Beautiful Cedar loves everyone! This sweet boy is deaf so will need someone who understands deaf dog training. His foster says he is smart and eager to please, she has taught him to sit, stay and laydown in just the few days she has had him (see video). He loves other dogs but plays rough because he is still young and doesn't know his own strength. Is crate and potty trained and very food motivated which helps with his training.

He is the ultimate velcro dog and loves to be near his people. Wants to go out for exercise but also sleep on your lap when you are relaxing. He is good with kids and is working on not jumping up on people. Has been around dog savvy cats.

P lease read the paragraph below to be considered for a potential meet & greet and adoption.

As a purely foster based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file.  Please fill in our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow at least 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Cedar's Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. *Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.*
