Meet Max! He is a medium energy guy who is very friendly and loves to play. He does well with kids, cats and dogs as well as other animals. He loves to be outside when the weather is nice to soak up the sun. Max is crate trained but also loves to sleep on a dog bed with his furry friends.

Max would love a family with kids and other dogs to play with in a big back yard with lots of room to run. With a little training, he would be a great hunting partner as well - if that's something you're interested in. Max's absolute favorite activity is playing with other dogs, so we hope to find him a home with at least one other playful companion. As a purely foster based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file.  Please fill in our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow at least 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Our adoption fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting, and micro-chipping. *Completion of obedience training within 90 days of adoption is a requirement for adoption through AARF.*
