Meet Krissy! We pulled this sweet girl from a rural shelter in Louisiana when her time was up. She was nursed back to health and is now in Seattle looking for her fur-ever home.

This is what her foster says about her:

Krissy is a fun dog to be around, she's good natured, playful, curious, gives lots of kisses and is really smart and funny - she brings us coats and her leash to tell us to take a break and go for a walk!  She has lots of energy and would make someone/family a great trail running and/or hiking partner, she loves hiking with us.  She sleeps wherever my 9 yo daughter is, mostly her bed but if my daughter has a bad dream and comes in my bed, Krissy follows and sleeps with us.  She is absolutely is the kind of dog that wins your heart.

Krissy is completely house trained and crate trained and walks fairly well on a leash - Krissy gets along well with other dogs and loves to engage and play, but some dogs may not love her higher energy level. She has a high prey drive, so we do not recommend a home with cats or other small animals.

As a purely foster based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file.  Please fill in our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow at least 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Our adoption fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting, and micro-chipping. *Proof of completion of obedience training within 90 days of adoption is a requirement for adoption through AARF.*
