Nyx is one of seven puppies who turned up at a rural Louisiana shelter with their mother, Mazie. The puppies were in the shelter at only two or three weeks old and wouldn't have made it much longer if we didn't find a foster to take them in. Luckily one of our amazing fosters took in Mazie and her entire litter and they've blossomed and grown into beautiful, chunky puppies. Nyx is the largest of the bunch and is now over ten pounds at eight weeks old. She is confident, bold and loves to play hard with her siblings. Nyx shows no fear and would be a great dog for an active person, couple or family who can channel her confidence and intelligence through mental and physical activity. She will be a wonderful companion for years to come. If you think Nyx would be a great addition to your household, please read the paragraph below in its entirety. As a purely foster based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file. Please fill in our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow at least 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Our adoption fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting, and micro-chipping. *Completion of obedience training & spay/neuter is a requirement for adoption through AARF.* More about NyxGood with Dogs, Good with Kids, Good with Adults, Somewhat vocal, Cratetrained, Likes to play with toys, Playful
