Catahoula Leopard Dog / Terrier / Mixed (short coat) : : Male (not neutered) : : Baby : : Medium Learn more about the Catahoula Leopard Dog.
Hermes is one of seven puppies who turned up at a rural Louisiana shelter with their mother, Mazie. The puppies were in the shelter at only two or three weeks old and wouldn't have made it much longer if we didn't find a foster to take them in. Luckily one of our amazing fosters took Mazie and her entire litter and they've blossomed and grown into beautiful, chunky puppies. Hermes is one of the larger boys and is pushing 9 lbs at 8 weeks old. He is a bit reserved initially, but he warms up quickly and becomes playful. He definitely isn't afraid to get in the mix, it just takes him a little longer. Hermes is a sweet little guy and would make a wonderful family dog. If you think Hermes would be a great addition to your household, please read the paragraph below in its entirety. As a purely foster based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file. Please fill in our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow at least 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Our Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting, and micro-chipping. *Completion of obedience training within 90 days of adoption & spay/neuter by 12 months of age are requirements for adoption through AARF.* More about HermesGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids, Good with Adults, Somewhat vocal, Cratetrained, Likes to play with toys, Playful, Affectionate
