Meet Tom, he is a sweet and gentle hound mix looking for his forever home!  His foster mom describes him as shy and affectionate, and once he is  comfortable and feels at home in his new surroundings,  he is a  playful, happy pup and eager to please. Given  that Tom is timid and  cautious with new situations, he will need a patient human to give him extra time and love as he comes out of his shell.  He is house trained and crate trained, but still needs friendly reminders to go outside and potty. Tom's foster mom is working on leash training, he has never had someone walk him before and is excited to learn. With some basic training, Tom could be a wonderful walking buddy and companion.

Tom would do best in a calm household, with a family  who can take him on walks, outdoor adventures, and can provide him the love and attention he deserves...are you that special someone? . If so, p lease read the paragraph below if you'd like to be considered for adoption.

As a purely foster based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file.  Please fill in our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow at least 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Tom's Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. *Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.*
