Jayla is an energetic young dog that loves to play fetch and is learning how to interact and play with other dogs. She is completely house trained and crate trained. Jayla has good leash manners most of the time but will occasionally pull if distracted so she could use more leash training. Jayla is smart, eager to please, affectionate and wants to be near her person. Jayla has some insecurity and fear, so we think she would do best in a home with older kids (10+) or teenagers. She can be timid at times and will find a good hiding spot, but can easily be convinced to come out with some pets.

Jayla would love an active family and another dog to keep her company. She would love to go walking, hiking and exploring. Jayla's favorite pastime is a good game of fetch and she is warming up to the idea of playing with other dogs. She settles down quickly once in the home and enjoys some down time as well laying next to her favorite people. As a purely foster based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file.  Please fill in our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow at least 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Jayla's Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. *Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.*
