Leroy is a very affectionate, eager to please boy who has lots and lots of love to give. All he wants to do is be close to his humans, if possible in their lap. He likes to give kisses and to get cuddles. He is young and is very much a puppy who still needs to learn some basic training skills. He could be shy at first, but he opens up quickly and his personality is very vibrant and joyful. He does cry when left in the crate, or even alone in the next room. He seeks attention and does not like to be alone. In summary, he is a very sweet boy who will require some training, but in return will bring lots of love and joy to his new home.

Leroy would love to be in a home where he can get attention all the time. Preferably, he would not be left alone for too long, so someone who works from home would be ideal for him. His energy is average, but given the opportunity to be active-he would certainly enjoy play time and long walks. He would benefit from having a dog-buddy to play with and would really like to have a yard.

As a purely foster based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file.  Please fill in our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow at least 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Leroy's Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. *Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.*
