Ellie is a super love bug. She wants to be your shadow and make sure you're not far from her. She would love to be your couch potato and then go on a long hike or walk. She loves to play fetch and destroy most toys. She is completely potty trained and kennel trained. She has no aggression toward cats but does enjoy a good chase if they run. Ellie loves all dogs and people. She is a happy dog with a happy tail so she would probably do better with older children that wouldn’t get pushed around or knocked over. She wines a bit on car rides, but we have a feeling it has more to do with being away from her person. She would probably not whine if sitting near her person with a tether belt than crated in the back. She would do very well with someone who stays home most of the day as she really loves to be with her people. She would make a wonderful addition to most any family!

As a purely foster based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Ellie's Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. *Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.*
