Lexi is almost the total opposite of her sister, Zoe. She can be fearful in new situations and looks to her sister for her courage and for how to react. She loves to cuddle and be loved on. She does very well with other dogs. She doesn’t understand small children and will hide from them. She is very smart and is highly food motivated. She would do well with a dog friend to play with and one that will show her the ropes and help her confidence.

Lexi would do well in just about any type of home, except one with small children. She is very affectionate and loves to be a couch potato after a good play session. She would do best In a home that is patient and more quiet due to her lack of courage and tender heart. She is the perfect little lap dog!

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Lexi's Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
