Winnie is a 6 month old, 18lb female chihuahua mix. 

Winnie who loves everybody! If you need a dog to get your other dogs moving, she is the one. She is very playful and has tons of energy, and running is her absolute favorite pastime. She doesn't care if she is being chased or doing the chasing, she gets along well with dogs of all sizes and is sweet and gentle with all people. She also loves to cuddle and is quick to learn new things.

She can be a curious pup when left without something to do, so she would do well with someone who can exercise her and get her the basic training she needs. She would also prefer a home with children and a fenced in yard. She has lots of love to give and energy to expend. She would really like to sleep on the bed with you if that is ok.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from pre-approved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Contact us for the Adoption Fee which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
