Are you looking for a future adventure companion who can keep up with you on hikes, runs or backpacking trips? Do you love a dog who is curious, adventurous and self-assured? Then Opal may just be the pup you're looking for! Opal is energetic and a little bit sassy. She likes to make her opinion known. She is highly intelligent and will be a breeze to train. Opal is outgoing, brave and adventurous and does not show fear in new situations. Opal loves to play with the other puppies but she also likes to let them know who is in charge.

We are looking for an owner who will keep her mentally and physically stimulated and has previous dog experience. Once old enough, she would love to go on adventures with you and possibly take agility classes and maybe even some nose work or fly ball. She has the confidence to be successful at most anything you challenge her with. If you think Opal might be the girl for you, please read the paragraph below for details on how to apply and potentially meet her.

As a purely foster-based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs.  Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file. Please complete our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteer staff. Opal's adoption fee is $450 which includes transportation, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.
