Wiley needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
All Wiley ever wants to do is play, get pets and give love. He is very loving and affectionate. You would think that being abandoned and dumped at a cemetery would cause him to have fear and mistrust of people, but he shows no signs of either. He welcomes new people with open arms and is a bundle of love and kisses. Wiley is well behaved and minds his manners. In the evenings, he knows it is bedtime and will go into his crate for night nights. He loves to play with other dogs and run around the yard. He gets along with dogs of all sizes as well as cats and hasn't met an animal he didn't get along with. Afterwards, he will sleep on the couch curled up in the tiniest ball. He still has puppy behaviors and is quite curious and goofy, but he is the sweetest and most loving pup. His foster mom says he has a very innocent and pure heart and we totally agree! He would love to join you on walks, hikes or road trips and would make a wonderful dog to enjoy life's adventures with. He would also love to lounge on the couch with you and cuddle for hours as he is truly a large lap dog. Wiley is truly the best of both worlds. If you are looking for a dog to be your companion for years to come, then Wiley is your guy. If Wiley sounds like the dog for you, please consider submitting an application for adoption. Please read the paragraph below for further details and instructions. As a purely foster-based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file. Please complete our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteer staff. Wiley's adoption fee is $400 which includes transportation, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.
