Bernard, affectionately called Bernie, is one handsome pup and the largest of his litter! He likes to pose and sit the same way all the time (as you can see from his photos) so his foster mom has given him the nickname GQ. He can run and play with his siblings, but is also a little bit more reserved than they are.  Bernie is currently potty training and crate training with his foster mom, but like most boys, forget to use the puppy pads.  He obviously still has accidents, but we expect he will catch on fairly quickly.  He is sweet, laid back and great with all the other puppies that are in foster with him.  His favorite time is meal time and he loves to play in the water dish.  We think he will most definitely enjoy the water.

As a purely foster-based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs.  Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file. Please complete our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteer staff. Bernie's adoption fee is $450 which includes transportation, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.
