Kaiden is such a beautiful dog both inside and out, but has a sad backstory.  One of our partner vets in Louisiana contacted us to see if we could take Kaiden sooner rather than later. They stated that her owners brought her in because she was having bowel issues and vomiting.  It was discovered that Kaiden had a rag in her intestine and needed surgery to remove it.  After her procedure, her owners decided to abandon her at the vet because they didn't want to pay for the surgery. We decided we couldn't let Kaiden languish, so we added her to a flight last minute and she was able to come to Seattle to live with a lovely foster family.

Now that she has been with her foster family for awhile, it is obvious Kaiden has not been exposed to much in her life. She was scared of stairs and car rides, but we believe with a little bit more time, she will overcome her fears and be a happy, well adjusted dog - she is already well on her way! With all that Kaiden has been through, she is amazingly resilient.  She is now crate trained, house trained, amazing with other dogs, eager to please, very sweet and playful.  She will be a breeze to train because all she wants to do is make you happy and receive affection. As a purely foster-based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file. Please complete our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteer staff. Kaiden's adoption fee is $400 which includes transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.
