Tammy is playful and loves the outdoors. She would enjoy hikes and walks and loves playing and socializing with other dogs. She is very playful, especially with her older and bigger foster brother, Ezra. When they play together he lies on the floor so he is down at her level and it is just the cutest thing! She'll sit on top of him and chew on his ears and he just lets her! They even nap and sleep together and it is just heartwarming.

Tammy is an affectionate, adventurous, sweet and playful little girl. She doesn't seem to immediately take to water and swimming like her brothers do, but can you blame her? The boys get a little too crazy and wild for her! Tammy's foster mom thinks she could be happy in a variety of homes. An older dog who loves puppies and playing with them would be a dream, but she would be just as happy as an only dog with the right family. She just wants to be happy in her forever home. Tammy does love stealing shoes, so keep an eye on your favorite pair because they will most likely end up in her mouth. As a purely foster-based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file. Please complete our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteer staff. Tammy's adoption fee is $450 which includes transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. Completion of puppy/obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.
