Meet Zeke!  He is a sweet boy who really attaches to his person/people. You could call him a bit of a shadow of sorts. He will follow his person around the house and lay at your feet. He absolutely loves kids and really lights up around them. He is the type of dog who will let the kids do as they please to him and he will just sit there with a smile on his face. Zeke has been around cats and is curious and wants to play with them, so if a potential home has cats they would definitely need to be dog savvy.

We would really love to find him a home with dog savvy kids who would enjoy playing with him and being around him as much as possible. Zeke gets along well with all dogs and will play for a bit and then rest and observe. He seems to enjoy observing and keeping watch. However, we think that once he settles down with his family and gets comfortable, he will come out of his shell even more. Zeke has been through a lot of change and moving around in a short amount of time, so we hope to find him a home who will love him for the rest of his days.

As a purely foster-based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file. Please complete our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteer staff. Zeke's adoption fee is $400 which includes transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.
