Star, aptly named for the star shape on her chest, is an out-going 5-month-old dog. She is sweet and affectionate, and loves to cuddle with people or other dogs.  She loves other dogs and has gotten along with all that she's met, especially  those that want to play with her.

She is crate-trained and learning how to walk nicely on a leash. She's eager to please and is working on basic commands.

Star is looking for her forever home in the Pacific Northwest. She'd be a great family dog and adventure dog, and would love another dog in the home to play.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from pre-approved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
