Rory and his littermates arrived to the rescue when mama dog, Raven, was found having been hit by a car with two broken legs! While recovering, it was discovered that Mama Raven was expecting puppies!  Unfortunately, 3 of the 11 puppies did not make it, but Rory and his littermates were fighters and made it through.

Rory is a sweet boy who loves to snuggle with his brother and sister. He loves to run and roll around in the grass and can be quite rambunctious at times. He's starting to show success with potty training, but will need more time and consistency since he's still a puppy. 

Rory would love an active family and would do well in a home with children and/or other dogs.  He would love a fur sibling or two, but would also do well as an only dog with a family who will keep him active both mentally and physically.

As a purely foster-based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs.  Therefore, we only honor meeting requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file . Please complete our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org/forms as fully as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteer staff. Rory's adoption fee is $450 which includes transportation, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.
