Mikey is a fun loving boy and loves to be around you all the time. His favorite activity is playing and getting attention from people and other dogs. He g ets along great with kids of all ages, cats and other dogs of all sizes. Mikey is not completely potty trained yet since he's so young, but he has already taught himself to use the doggy door.

Mikey would love a home with children and a dog buddy, if possible. If his adopter was retired or worked from home, he would love that because he does not like to be left alone. He has lots of energy and, when old enough, he would love to accompany you on daily walks, hikes or even runs.

As a purely foster-based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs.  Therefore,  we only honor meeting requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file  . Please complete our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org/forms as fully as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteer staff. Mikey's Adoption Fee is $450 which includes transportation, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.
