Jack is a true companion dog. He absolutely loves following you around the house and if you get up, he gets up. He likes to be in eye sight at all times. He will literally never leave your side. It doesn’t matter what you're doing, if you walk out of the room, he will follow. He also likes to sleep in bed at night snuggled by your side. Jack loves snuggling with you on your lap with him on his back. He adores kids and has an amazing temperament around them. He also enjoys sunbathing outside while chewing on sticks. He does well around other dogs, but can be timid and insecure at first. There would definitely need to be an adjustment phase in a home with another dog(s).

He would love to be in a home with children and/or someone who is home a majority of the day - either a SAHM or someone who works from home. He is a true lap dog and velcro dog and will spend the entire day next to you. He would also make a great companion to a retired individual or couple. He does enjoy playing with other dogs, but would be fine as an only dog as well. If you are looking for a constant companion who will never leave your side, consider adopting Jack who will give you that and so much more.

As a purely foster-based rescue, we have no central location where you can visit our dogs.  Therefore,  we only honor meeting requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file . Please complete our online adoption application at www.myaarf.org/forms as fully as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteer staff. Jack's Adoption Fee is $425 which includes transportation, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping. Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.
