From Peachy's foster: When my husband found Peachy, she was abandoned in the middle of the woods on one of our coldest winters nights yet. The closest house is several miles away so there is no way she just "wandered off". She also had a burn on her front shoulder. I'm not sure what happened to her, but we bathed her in a medicated bath since we've had her and the flea prevention she's on is specializes in the skin and I was so happy tonight to see that all the hair has grown in and in the shape of a heart!!!!!!! Peachy is truly a sweet and special girl who was only 5.5 lbs when we found her and is now almost 15!

Peachy's favorite toy is her ball.  She is currently working on her potty training and doing well but does still have accidents as she is so young.  Peachy is very intelligent, loving, affectionate and loves to play.  She would love a family with kids who love the outdoors and will take her hiking, walking and along on their adventures.  She would make a great family dog and will bring happiness and love to your home for many years.  If interested in meeting Peachy, please see below:

As a purely foster-based rescue, we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs.  Therefore, we only honor meeting requests from pre-approved adopters with an application on file.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as completely as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy, all volunteer staff. Peachy's  Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping.  Proof of completion of obedience/puppy school and spay/neuter by 6 months of age is a requirement for adoption.
