Patty's favorite toy is her small plush-squeaky lamb toy and she loves playing with her 60 lb foster brother!! Patty is still very much a puppy so she is super playful but so loving and appreciative of any attention that she is given. She has never had an accident in her pen or crate even as young as at 8 weeks old. We feel this is a sign of her high intelligence and her eagerness to please. She will, however, have occasional accidents in the house, but with continued time and patience she will fully potty train very quickly. Patty is wonderful with her 5 yr old, 60 lbs rottie/lab foster sibling who is very playful. They could go on and play for hours together, if you let them.

Her foster mom has both large and small personal dogs, a cat and grand kids ranging in age from 1 - 7 and she does great with all of them. Her foster mom thinks that the perfect home for Patty would be an active family or person who would really incorporate her into their daily life and adventures. As a purely foster-based rescue, we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs.  Therefore, we only honor meet & greet requests from pre-approved adopters with an application on file.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org/forms as completely as you can and allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy, all volunteer staff. Patty's Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping.  Proof of completion of obedience/puppy school and spay/neuter by 6 months of age is a requirement for adoption.
