Mars loves to melt into you, lean on you, and look at you with those big beautiful blue eyes! At 6 months and 40lbs, Mars is on track to be a big love bug. She loves to play with toys but would rather sit with you or play with her siblings. She is a quick study and knows how to sit (and bat her eyelashes at you). She sleeps on you or touching you, but sleeps through the night. She lets you know when she needs something. She is very timid and lacks the confidence to feel comfortable without you or a confident dog by her side as she explores her new world. She barks at new dogs, and is extremely submissive. Confidence work with have to be done with this pretty girl. She hasn’t met anyone she doesn’t like, but sometimes it take a few minutes before she is comfortable with other animals. She rides well in the car and hasn’t found anything she doesn’t like to eat. She will share the couch, the bed, your chair, the driver’s seat, your dinner, your space, if you let her. As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters. Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can. It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping. More about MarsGood with Dogs, Good with Adults, Somewhat vocal, Requires a yard, Cratetrained
