Mercury is a bit gangly as he grows into a big bundle of love!  A 6 mth old puppy, he can entertain himself with toys as long as you are within site or hearing.  He loves his siblings but will be the first to push thru the pack to get to a treat or dinner.  He is quick to pick up commands and almost has sit down to a science.  He is timid going into new places but rides nicely in a car.  He has been respectful with everyone he meets including dogs and kids.  He sometimes sleeps on the bed but prefers his own bed or area rug.  He lets you know when he wants something and is a fan of going outside to do his business. He looking for a home with other dogs he can play with or someone that could take him to work.  Training classes are a must with this great guy! 

He is 40 lbs at this time so will grow up to be a big dog!!
 

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
