Bella's story is a sad one. Another rescue broke the cardinal rule of dog rescue and took her puppies, but left mama behind in the shelter. AARF stepped in and took her in as soon as we heard what happened. Bella loves to be outside and loves people. Although, she prefers to be with people she would do okay if left on her own as well. Bella will whine for a bit initially but then settles down and gets comfortable. Bella loves to give affection as much as she loves to receive it and is super sweet and affectionate and just wants your love. She also does well with other dogs after a short adjustment period. Even though Bella is missing a couple of teeth, it doesn't seem to bother her and doesn't affect her daily activities. Bella is almost fully potty trained and is doing very well. She also hasn't chewed on anything other than her toys and will not destroy your home or furniture.

Bella's current foster thinks she would do well in any home with people to love on her and constantly give her attention. She also thinks Bella would do just fine with a small family of even one adult and other fur k ids. She really is such a good girl!!!

*As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs. Consequently, we only honor meeting requests from pre-approved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything, or any particular dog, but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $350 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping.
