Denver is a super sweet boy with classic good looks who is super friendly.  He is treat motivated, so training will come easily- he has already learned to sit and come! As with any puppy he will need lots of fun socializing opportunities and your love and support!  He loves his meal times and is doing very well with potty training (95% trained).  Denver gets along well with other dogs, cats and kids and might benefit from a confident canine companion - but if you don't currently have a dog don't let that stop you from applying!  Whilst he loves dogs and people, he is also content cuddling with you on the bed or couch.  His favorite toys are stuffed animals, so please make sure there are plenty of these around should you adopt!

As with all young puppies Denver cannot be left alone more than 3-4 hrs at a time, he is 95% potty trained.  Whilst he won't potty in his crate if he doesn't quite make it out in time he might still pee a little and needs your help making sure that happens in the right place!  Part of our adoption contract is a promise to attend a puppy training class to ensure Denver has a great start learning the rules of life as a family member.  Are you ready to commit to training?  Have a hefty dose of patience and love to hand out?  Are you ready for puppy breath, cuddles, laughter and more? Then perhaps Denver is the boy for you :)

As a purely foster based rescue, we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs.  Consequently, we only honor meeting requests from pre-approved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything, or any particular dog, but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter), shots and micro-chipping.
